L4L Sustainability Pledge

At Lights 4 Life I do things differently.

It's far too easy for companies to jump on the sustainability bandwagon. Greenwashing is a common practice unfortunately. I take my responsibilities seriously and will not make claims that cannot be substantiated.

You can have practicality that looks beautiful, and that won't literally cost the earth that surrounds us. It just takes more effort from consumers and retailers.

The circular economy, sustainability and an end to unnecessary waste is central to my business model.

All my products have been pre-loved in a previous life. They have stood the test of time in both quality and design.

I scour the internet, fairs, markets etc for vintage items to restore. Then I have the interesting task of refurbishing them so they can be enjoyed once again.

Waste at L4L is kept to the very bare minimum through efficient procurement and use of materials. The minimal waste that is produced is sent for recycling and never to land fill.

L4L offers a buy back scheme. All L4L items can be part exchanged for 60% credit towards future purchases. This ensures that waste to landfill is avoided, and that the items have yet another chance to bring light into the life of even more generations of people.
